is a Berlin based photographer specialized in still life, architecture and urban landscape. His work always exhibits a particular view and interest in space, surface and sculpture. Within the image and composition he likes to explorer the most possible specific precision of the captured object. The honest truth – beautiful, strict and clear, without reading it as a sign or symbol, even trying to resist any connotation. Due to his very formal approach the things become their own aesthetic sign, referring to nothing else but themselves. Building a „pattern book of things“.
Andreas was born in Bremen, where he studied architecture and graduated under Prof. Will Alsop with a Master’s degree. After successfully working as an architect he became more and more involved in art projects and found himself finally studying again under Prof. Katharina Sieverding in Berlin at University of Arts.
